About J. Paul Walker
J. Paul Walker is a lifelong student of scripture and the practical sciences, having spent more than 45 years exploring God’s intelligence and perspectives with insatiable curiosity and a calling to connect biblical wisdom to real-world events. Over decades, he quietly amassed a vast trove of study notes, wrestling with the Creator’s mindset in everything from Genesis to Revelation, nutritional science, explosives engineering, political operations, and current affairs.
His simple desire: to leave a legacy, regardless of whether his books ever sell a single copy, of critical understanding of God as both creative genius and the model Father, so his children and grandchildren will always know the character of the true God, not the distorted versions shaped by the religious traditions of men.
J. Paul coined the terms “Ekklesian” and “Ekklesians” to recapture the biblical Ekklesia as Christ’s commissioned body, empowered to make a difference beyond mere tradition. His prophetic insights into national leadership, especially the Trump administration, frame it as a living example of Kingdom of God governance amid turbulent times.
He created the Ahava Fellowship Model™, inviting Ekklesians to gather, not out of religious obligation, but inspired by “ahava,” one of the Hebrew words for love as God defines it. In this model, love is the only acceptable motivation, with no financial incentives involved, a quiet distinction from embarrassing patterns that have sometimes clouded church life for far too many brethren.
In J. Paul’s lifelong vision, a spotless Bride of Christ can exist only when love, for God, our brothers and sisters in Christ, and our neighbors as ourselves, is genuinely at the center. Anything less, he believes, misses the very heart of Christ’s calling, for He said the world would know His disciples by their love for one another.
From his vocational start in agriculture and diesel mechanics, through many years as a certified blaster, technical sales rep, and product manager in the explosives and mining industries, J. Paul’s journey reflects deep respect for working people and practical wisdom.
He also holds a master’s in Natural Health and a bachelor’s in Holistic Nutrition, and partnered with the late Dr. Rex Russell, MD, author of the well-known What the Bible Says About Healthy Living book. Together with other gifted team members, they brought Dr. Russell’s core message into church sponsored venues, with J. Paul contributing his practical nutritional knowledge and engaging PowerPoint presentation skills, gifts that Dr. Russell personally valued. Their team’s collaboration helped congregations discover God’s definition of food and how to honor Him through healthy living.
He championed educational ventures and helped launch a Colorado-based wholegrain bakery startup, always seeking God’s fingerprints in science and everyday provision. He has authored a nutritional education book series, which will be published as time permits.
J. Paul enjoys baking bread from freshly milled whole grains, smoking healthy meats, savoring nutritious fish and fowl, dialing in his espresso machine, trail running, drumming, nutrition research, boxing, and training in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu through a Pedro Sauer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Association affiliate.
He loves “roughhousing” with his grandkids and traveling with Tina “Queenie,” his wife and love of his life for 45 years. He excels (though unheralded) as the family dishwasher, trash taker-outer, and kitchen cleanup engineer!
If you remember one thing, let it be this: God’s love and wisdom are meant for ordinary and extraordinary alike. When the Ekklesians unite in “ahava” love and Kingdom purpose, the world changes, and the table is being set for the greatest celebration in all creation: the Supper of the Lamb, the biggest dinner party ever to hit the cosmos!
